The aim of the Sports Physicians’ Association is to promote sports and exercise medicine.
What we do
The Finnish Society of Sports Medicine (SULY) was founded in 1939 and is thus the oldest sports medicine society in the world. SULY strives to bring together all professionals engaged with supporting the wellbeing of athletes in our country. The goal of our association is to seek the advancement of sports and exercise medicine.
Our activities include state-of-the-art training within our specialty, maintaining national and international contacts in the field of sports medicine, and supporting research. In addition, the Association will issue statements and opinions on key sports medicine issues as needed. In its activities, the association is committed to the Code of Sports Ethics.
